Sanyod

Central Plaza Pinklo, Thailand   |  Benja Foods Company Limited

Project Scope

This San Yod restaurant is designed in the style of a Hong Kong restaurant. By design, the first side is the side of the kitchen which has been adjusted to a new area. Originally, it was a low ceiling, which was smashed out in order to open the front area to see more space. The other side will be an area for customers to sit and eat. By using frosted glass to allow light to penetrate through, the room looks airier. The wall is decorated with ancient Chinese wallpaper that fills the wall of the restaurant and adds a Chinese-style painting pattern to create a more traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere.

The color scheme of the restaurant is a brown tone. We chose wooden furniture and designed the appearance of the ceiling to give the restaurant a warm atmosphere as if eating at home, which is suitable for bringing the family to sit and eat on a casual day. There is a combination of patterns from the brand used to decorate the floor with Chinese patterns or walls, including the table screen. Red and gold, as well as the selection of materials that are terrazzo, are used. Chinese art shelves can be seen when walking into the store to make the restaurant look different from the usual Chinese restaurants. In terms of space arrangement, we added a counter to make a funnel for serving more food. To organize the proportion of the restaurant to be more systematic, the graphics section has been redesigned from the menu, logo, and packaging, in line with the original Cantonese restaurant which is the uniqueness of the Sanyod restaurant.
